Startin Tractors announces acquisition of Kilworth Machinery

Startin Tractors is pleased to announce the acquisition of Kilworth Machinery, bringing together two established and complementary businesses with a shared commitment to supplying quality equipment, specialist knowledge and dependable customer support.

Kilworth Machinery has built an excellent reputation as a specialist supplier of horticultural, groundcare and forestry machinery. Its customers include estates, local authorities and municipalities, golf courses, professional grounds maintenance businesses and other organisations operating and managing outdoor environments.

Alongside its local retail and service operation, Kilworth Machinery is also an established importer of specialist equipment, supplying products on a wholesale basis to customers and dealers across the UK.

The acquisition will see Mark Parnham and Andrew Finch, together with their colleagues, join Startin Tractors, ensuring that the experience, knowledge and customer relationships that have helped build Kilworth's reputation remain at the heart of the business.

Mark and his family, with the support of Andrew in recent years, have firmly established Kilworth Machinery as a highly respected specialist supplier within its sector.
Both Mark and Andrew will become Kilworth Brand Specialists for Startin Tractors, bringing their extensive product knowledge and experience to the wider business and customer base.

The acquisition brings together expertise across agriculture, horticulture, groundcare, forestry and 4WD pick-ups and cars, creating a broader range of equipment and support for both existing and new customers.

For Kilworth Machinery's existing customers, the acquisition provides continuity through the existing team whilst opening access to the wider capabilities of Startin Tractors.

For Startin Tractors' existing customers, it adds new specialist products, knowledge and expertise, allowing the business to support more of the equipment used across farms, estates, golf courses, local authorities, forestry operations and other outdoor businesses.

The acquisition also provides opportunities to develop Kilworth Machinery's specialist importing and wholesale activities further, supported by the resources and wider customer base of Startin Tractors.

The coming together of the two businesses marks another step in the development of Startin Tractors, creating an increasingly comprehensive equipment business capable of supporting customers across the outdoor industries.
